Structural Designer – Precast Elements

Experience Required: 3–5 Years | Market: US / Canada Building Codes (ACI / PCI)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural engineering design & analysis for precast/prestressed concrete components (wall panels, columns, double tees, spandrels).
• Calculate gravity, wind, seismic, and erection/handling loads using ACI 318, PCI Design Handbook, IBC, and Canadian building codes (NBCC).
• Design precast connections, dapped-end beams, bearing pads, hardware plates, and weldments.
• Collaborate with drafting/detailing teams to ensure design intent and safety factors are met.
